We got Breeze in 2021 from a family friend who has a farm. We wanted a friend for our black cat, Ringo (born 2019). Breeze left his barn cat life as a very small kitten to live with us in The Big City of Toronto, and even at that very young age, we knew he was strange.
We would find him in all sorts of places in our apartment. Anywhere he could go, he would. Sometimes, he would turn up wet and we wouldn’t know why. Then one night in December 2021, we went in the bath for a swim.
I took a video, uploaded it to TikTok rather thoughtlessly and in the morning, I checked the app. He was an overnight viral sensation, gaining more than 50k followers very quickly. Now we’re at 284k. He’s been covered by Newsweek, Barstool, etc. But Breeze is still up to the same old trouble, going places he shouldn’t and bothering his friend, Ringo
